Long 60's Oaxacan Mexican dress with lots of hand embroidery in red and white on a black cotton ground. This is one of the more elaborate dresses of this kind that I've found. Exquisite early 50's hand-embroidered blouse with cutwork in a soft seafoam green. The workmanship is really amazing. About a size 8, the top measures approx. 25" across the top from sleeve end to sleeve end, 39" bust, 35" waist, and 19" overall length. There is no side opening, so it would be difficult for someone with large shoulders to get into. Except for some very slight fraying of the bottom hem, which could be turned up, the top is in excellent condition.
